Darktrace PLC is a British-based cybersecurity company operating internationally. The company develops artificial intelligence (AI) technology that is self-learning, which then enables the autonomous detection of a range of cyber threats, such as ransomware and phishing. Its products include Enterprise Immune System, a platform that ‘learns’ a customer’s business so that it can detect unusual activity, and Darktrace Antigena, the company’s Autonomous Response technology. The company’s AI platform can be deployed across a range of digital infrastructure, including in the cloud and networking, for the Internet of Things, and within industrial systems. Darktrace is the first at-scale and AI-based cybersecurity platform for enterprise, and is a pioneer of the self-learning approach. Darktrace’s technology is used by some of the largest businesses globally, and its customers span over 100 countries. The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Cambridge, UK.
